Y’know, I’m glad I did, because I’d forgotten how quickly and effortlessly the book sucks you in. Lippi writes in a clean, beautiful style, and it’s probably the best feature of Tied to the Tracks—that, and her knack for creating characters who act and feel real.

It just barely missed being an A, largely because the story as a whole. Tied to the Tracks was not up to the standards of her other books.

In fact, there were approximately 8 women characters of which 4 were discovered to be lesbians. Much too much!. When I read a book I am not fond of having any lifestyle pushed down my throat. Glad she hasn't written any other books as I would not waste my time reading them.4/5(12).

Second, there were a lot of quirky characters. And third, there was a lot of humor. The fact that there was a nice romance is just sort of a bonus/5(2).
